Benefits of Exercise
There are many, many reasons to make exercise a regular part of your life. Did you know that exercise burns up stress chemicals, like adrenaline? This makes it easier for you to relax your body and mind. When you exercise, your body also produces endorphins, which gives you that ‘exercise high’ you get at the end of a session, and helps to provide a sense of well being.
Exercise is of course great for your body! It helps you maintain a healthy weight, build muscle tone, benefits your internal organs and your skin, and weight-bearing exercise (such as lunges, squats, and sit-ups) are good for building bone density, which is especially important for women to help prevent osteoporosis or “weakened bones”.
